I was eager to check this place out. Signage isn’t great-it’s accessible via the residential main entrance. The case isn’t huge, but I tried the cinnamon roll croissant, almond croissant, a hazelnut chocolate mousse thing, and a blueberry mousse thing, with yuzu gele and a honey brittle. All very good! I was craving chocolate and like rich good chocolate and who can’t think of Le Petit Gateau. It’s a bakery within Indy coffee roasters and they mostly take orders but they also have a good variety of breads, croissants, brownies and muffins so you may get lucky with what you are craving for. Some friends took my wife to the Fishers farmers market yesterday, and they took her straight to Chris for good reason. The English muffins are fantastic. Soft and pillowy even after toasting, exactly the right amount of salt, and split easily by hand. The cake from Le Petit Gateau was far superior to any other bakery we tried for our wedding. We tried so many highly recommended bakeries but none of them impressed us until we stopped by Le Petit Gateau. It's one of the better, almond croissants I have ever experienced! The staff were very friendly, and there were plenty of places to sit while the buttery croissant flakes covered my sweater.
